Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday announced that the Cabinet passed the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat healthcare scheme in its first meeting.
Speaking to the media after chairing the first Cabinet meeting, Gupta said,” In the first Cabinet meeting, we discussed and passed two agendas – to implement in Delhi the Ayushman Bharat scheme with Rs 5 lakhs top up and tabling of 14 CAG reports in the first seating of the Assembly.”
The chief minister added that the 14 Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports, which have been delayed by the previous regime, will now get tabled in the Assembly.
“14 CAG reports have not been tabled in the House by the last govt. In the first meeting of the House, those reports will be tabled,” he added.
Speaking about the promises made by the BJP before coming to power in Delhi, the chief minister said, “We will fulfil all the commitments that we have made to the people.”
Reacting to the statement of Delhi CM Atishi regarding the promise made by the BJP to give Rs 2500 to the women in the capital city, Gupta said, “It’s our government; the agenda will be ours. Let us work. She doesn’t need to tell us everything; she has done what she has to while being in power.”
Minister Parvesh Verma, after attending the first meeting of the Cabinet, said, “Ayushman scheme implemented in Delhi and CAG reports will be tabled soon.”
